The procedure
You request a fee quote and engage our services. We then obtain the latest proposed plans, review your development application, and prepare draft public notification materials, including the newspaper advertisement, on-site development signage, and neighbour notification letters, for your review and approval.
Step 1 – Engagement & Draft Preparation
Once the draft materials are approved, we finalise all notices and confirm the commencement date for the public notification period in accordance with statutory requirements.
Step 2 – Approval & Scheduling
On the scheduled start date, we issue the Notice of Intent to Commence Public Notification to the relevant council, distribute notification letters to affected neighbours, install compliant signs on all site frontages, and publish the approved advertisement in the nominated newspaper.
Step 3 – Public Notification Commencement
At the conclusion of the public notification period, we remove all on-site signage and issue the Notice of Completion of Public Notification to council, along with the required supporting documentation.
